Dear all,

Does anyone know who sell this bike in uk?

Possible to restrict it to make it uk legal?

1: Why would you want to restrict it? Surely the point of it is that it's fast.
2: Carrying on from point 1 - if you want stealthy but legal, there are better options out there for less money.

Hi Amigafa

I help my friend to ask I believe this is one of the best looking bike.

I know it is very expensive but in frame battery and good looking bike are what he is after.

Thanks

Sorry for another post. I made a mistake about the model

The model is actually called Turbo S which is UK legal version.

Does anyone know how to get it from uk?

Thanks
Pat

I took a good look at a Specialized turbo in a shop today. I'll upload the photos when I get back into the country, but what I will say is that it is stunning and well finished bike, but I was very disappointed with how heavy that it felt when I picked it up. Given the cost, it would have been enough to put me off ever owning one, had I been looking to buy. My Neo Xtrem is far lighter!

It's got a direct drive motor that's why it's heavy.

There is now a UK version (meets legal requirements etc). I tried it today and ordered it in Bristol. the acceleration on it is great, but of course it is speed limited. was impressed with build quality

It's worth signing a waiver and having the speed limit changed for off road testing purposes ;)
I did actually have to take the bike back as the forks got stuck..all was fixed and while I was there I did ask them to remove restriction, which they politely declined! I do need to go back again as the forks were marginally damaged when they fixed them ,so they have offered to replace forks...so when I go back for this, I will take in my waiver form and have another go !!!

There's not much point in buying it if they're not going to derestrict it. You might as well get a Tesco Hopper, which can do 15 mph.
