It be arriving electrifyingcycles this week.... (Ish) KTM Macina HS Duel 2013 low step frame


Now need to go on turbo trainer on my other bike to practice a bit as I have been a lazy cow for so long.

Am also excited as we are actually beating Italia for a change (at the moment)

So far whilst waiting for bike have bought:

A way too big Altura waterproof and make-me-sweat coat
two stupid caps which look really stupid on me and have hidden away to forget
Gloves.. And another pair which came with the coat
Brooks butt seat
Socks.. They are the only small things that still fit me
Spd things (I needed some anyhow.. Hope they fit!)
carradice bag thing (cute)

Got a lock or two from other bikes
got shoes


No escuse now not to get off my derriere when bike arrives I guess...

Would like to buyif I was 'flush' ?

Headcam that doesn't go on head
One of those confusing ATE+ things which I do not understand to work with my iphone
then again I'm going gadgety again.......

I keep my boats at Caernarfon in front of the castle, so maybe I'll see you around there sometime. I keep meaning to take my bike up there so that I can explore some of the coastal paths around there- and maybe a bit of Anglesey.

I'm glad you got sorted with a bike. We can all relax now. We just need Alex and Morphix to get their bikes finished and we can all have a nice relaxing Spring enjoying riding our bikes.

Doing my best, Dave ... soonest I can get my remaining parts decided on and ordered in soonest they can be on the bike ! If we can get this blasted lighting muddle cleared up we'll all be out riding by the time Spring proper arrives ...

RC world delivery due in on Tuesday with the solarfilm, clearcoat, balsa and modeling iron all ready to make the box - at this rate it'll be built by the time I decipher how to get a single-mode CREE wired in to switch on without causing a fire !

That's my main leisure 'normal bike' cycling route as it flat! From menai across old bridge via uni gardens via treborth via faenol paths / woods via felinheli (pint) via lon las via ferodo via marina round via tesco cross footbridge past your boat to Black Boy or Fus.... Then back again.. only on a main road for less than a mile

Be Very careful wot you say about Morris Dancers.....

We tend to be Touchy old beggars, wot use seasoned hazel dancing accoutrements, similar to pick-handles.

Speaking personnally, we don't need to travel to for'n parts to fleece the Emmets - They come to us, like lambs to the slaughter.

Bike should be with us on Monday or Tuesday. We will check up on everything and arrange delivery. Ideally we are looking to deliver it in person. Have to say I was impressed with the other KTM which arrived last week, very nice. It has the same style lowstep as your bike and looked very nice.

One way to break it in?! Damned polish thing arrived today and saddle instruction size 0.4 font (GRRR) said not to use this expensive Brooks polish on 'aged' saddle. thenagain I tried to find 'aged' saddle for Brooks S in black and they said. There wasn't one .. So how come box said aged..? Argh! Maybe they meant me?

Need some rioja.. Getting painful..
