Geometry question

Hi...I need to find the diameter of my handlebars,

If I determine the circumference, using a piece of wire, can I find the diameter from this measurement ?

yes, you divide the circumference by the number PI ( 3.14).

...and the answer will be 22mm, unless you need to know the clamp size.

Set an adjustable spanner to the clamp diameter, then measure with a ruler.

...tried that...spanner not wide enough.

All handlebars except some Bromptoms are 22mm at the grip end. In the middle, they're 25mm or 31.8mm. You don't need to measure them: It should be obvious which of the two they are.
