A front hublike the G370 or an AKM75SX can't be compared to other generic geared hubs, they so small and light that they will have little or no effect on the bikes handling.
Can't comment directly on the hubs but I do know increasing the weight of even the front tyre has a huge effect on the handling of a sub 10kg road bike.
Increasing the diameter and mass of the wheel on my 25kg plus all mountain ebike makes no difference to me at all, my old 10 kg hardtail MTB felt weird when I put 'winter' tyres on it.

Big difference in placing a small lightweight hub very centrally in a rim vs a heavier knobbly tyre on the outer circumference of a rim.
Weight/mass placement is very different in the above two scenarios.

I fitted one of those tiny Xiongda motors to the front of a lightweight fairly modern roadbike. It affected the steering terribly. I also fitted a Q75 to an old steel framed roadbike, which was OK. I think it depends on the steering geometry.

Is there a rear cassette version of the akm-75 or G370 for sale ? I couldn't find one? Or something similar, very light, minimal drag

I haven't seen a rear small AKM 75 or G370, the nearest is the 2.1kg AKM 100 or TBK 100AD copy/clone ?
There are also the rear 2.1kg Keyde and TBK100's with the inner controller , TBK is fairly weak at max 9a the Keyde is 8a but TBK say's max 26a in the specs which sounds a bit suspect to me.
Could be a simple neat ideal solution for a light person riding flat terrain.

Just went out on a ride on my folding bike with the 1.44kg front akm-75 to see if I could detect any gyroscopic effect , didn't really notice anything, maybe slightly less "twitchy" steering compared with the original front wheel. Didn't really notice any difference in steering between it being powered and unpowered. Might be different on a road bike, or different geometry

Are you going to try and build a lightweight road electric bike with similar characteristics out of generic parts ?

This would be my attempt

Bafang G370 hub

36v15ah Panasonic bag battery

KT T06S 15 amp controller with LCD4 and Pas, no brake sensor or throttle

Almost New Road bike !

Knock him down £50 and it comes to < £1000 and weighs 14.5 kg with 540wh bag battery or under 14 kg with 360wh battery
No, I'm going back to manual and my Boardman Swytched Hybrid for riding with the misses.
