i,m thinking about getting a couple of gaadi tubes after the recent discussion about them.
they seem like a great idea for sorting a puncture without removing the wheel.
what i,d be interested to know is ,are they just a get you home thing or do people use them as a permanent thing? and can i presume they can be repaired in the way a normal tube can be
thanks

I have used them several times after a flat and always have two of them in my kit. I have ridden 50 to 60K with them and feel no difference than with closed tubes so I'm quite sure you can use them permanently.
Since they are made of normal rubber like closed tubes you can patch them.

Robf, have you ever have post code trouble with Rose? I can never proceed as mine keeps getting highlighted for correction.

No, although I've only ordered a couple of things since buying the bike.

The site always ask what country I'm in, so perhaps it thinks you are somewhere else.

The helpline - when they are not 'celebrating a holiday here in Germany' is pretty good.

If the person who lifts the phone doesn't speak English he/she will sharp put you on to someone who does.

I bought a couple of 28" gaadi tubes for my Rose bike from Rose - this was the only size they had in stock in March. I also bought two 26" gaadi tubes from Bike24 for my wife's bike. Both transactions went smoothly and quickly.
