Furo X Battery Question

Half way there then, just needs a battery or another fiido battery rail to install on the furo if the bikes aren't going to be ridden in group ride.

So fiidos connections are exactly the same, but whilst connecting up, black first then red and spark. Papped myself

The sparks are normal esp as the controllers main capacitor would have been drained .

It's is the same case battery as the one I linked to from UPP also it is a yose battery which is on the the yose page. 20a continuous discharge with China branded cells it should be ok for the price, most likely it is also made by UPP with just with a customer brand name on the case.

The UPP one Iinked to in #8 shows the bracket fixing, doe sit look like it may fit ?

I do like the look of the one you posted in #8, my only issue is that it doesn’t have the correct connections on, although I do have the crimps needed so don’t know why I’m making this a negative

As I thought, it has tapped fixings and a flat section. Can one not make use of the tapped holes to fix the new battery mount .

The one in #8 is the same as the yose power one, it just shows the seat post clamp better.

Find a bit of 5/6mmmm ali plate the dimensions of the furo battery base and drill two or three holes in it to match the frame tapped hole spacings.
On the new battery remove the metal clamp and fix the battery receiver (using the same clamp fixing holes) in between the frame fixing holes on the ali plate then simply a fix the plate to the seat post for the battery to securely sit on and lock into place.
The battery receiver fixings to the ali plate will need recessing a little on the rear so the heads are flush or just under the surface.

Say i could get a 36v 20AH battery... Would that be ok to use with it? Or do i need to stick to around 10AH? Also, do you have posts for your bikes that are in your sig? They sound cool!

One can use any AH battery of the required voltage needed, AH only increases the bikes range and will usually make the battery heavier.

I haven't done a thread for the others.

The Kona Ute is still a normal bike, the motor is on route as are the bits to mod the motor. I will be doing a thread at some stage on the conversion and battery build.

This is at Ardingly reservoir. Apart from adding the 2.5kg ekit the only other mods I did was add a 42/11t cassette and add a wolf link to the derailleur hanger.

The UPP one is also the same battery but with differing branding, the other two are cheaper.

Have contacted the Yose seatpost (vertical) battery supplier in walsall, i have seen they sold a few during this month for £116 so to see if they can offer me a similar price, you never know!

That's the beauty of ebikes with generic china electrics, easy peasy to sort out for quite cheap money.
