Suspension- I find having front suspension on my Wisper makes live easier on my wrists and arms esp combined with the easily multi adjust handlebars. I would always chose it as an option

Tyres- I have Scwalbes on my Cytronex(after purchase fit) and the standard Kenda E-Bike on the Wisper. Neither have suffered a puncture so far.

I wish I could say the same for my Kalkhoff which came with Continentals. At the rate of one a week, I suppose they were resisting punctures for six days out of seven

My Brompton came with their 'puncture resistant' tyres. A puncture on my third ride told me to change to Marathons.

The roads round my way are littered with glass and, it seems, tacks and nails.

I'm also intrigued by anyone who can avoid all potholes. Again, try that round my way. The cycle lane on my main route is far, far rougher than the Thames towpath. You cannot avoid the potholes without swinging out into the main traffic stream. Sometimes that can be done safely, sometimes not.
