Update after approx 300 miles on each bike

In just now for first free service.

Issues - centre stand worked loose, 2 broken spokes on rear wheel, wish I had a higher (8th) gear as on high assist on the flat my legs are a blur :p

Overall - very pleased with our bikes............need to maybe carry spare spokes.....and learn how to fit them? Comfortably get over 40 miles on a full charge (16Ah)

Having just bought one of these bikes, I was most interested in reading how yours is going.

My first ride this morning was 20km, and at the end, the first light was just starting to drop out on hills. I was doing a bit of pedalling for exercise, but I am not very fit (yet :) ). In other words, even with my unfit input, there was heaps of distance available. Extrapolating, this seems to indicate the 100kms advertised as a max is very achievable. (of course the battery meter may not be very linear - hard to tell yet)

They all seem to vary in how they respond, but most find they are not linear in their response.:)

The battery indicators are rarely linear, As a general rule, an unfit person on normal terrain without too many steep hills will get around 30 to 35 miles per 10ah of battery using a medium level of assist

There's a range predictor on the Woosh website that's fairly accurate. It tells you how many watt-hours you'll use on any journey. Multiply your battery amp-hours by the nominal voltage to get your available watt-hours from the fully charged battery.

10ah 36v = 360wh
14ah 36v = 504wh
17ah 36v = 612wh

35 miles = 56km. times 1.6 for the bigger battery, that's 89.6km - happy with that.

Liked the mileage predictor page too.
