Nap? This 72 year old has just come in from a 15 miles ride covering a 700 foot elevation and with a 1 in 5 at at one point. This morning's 14 miles was a touch easier, just a 600 foot climb in it.
.
That's good. Back in time to watch Countdown then?? ;)

How the devil do you manage to get 48 hours in each of your days, Flecc?
I don't waste time watching Countdown!

If you were to check my posts today, you'd see them spaced by the two main riding periods, plus a shopping trip ride just completed. And while I'm in, I attend to the forum as I pass the computer in the course of doing other things.

Radio 4 is better than TV since I can do other things at the same time as listening, so there aren't many minutes wasted in each day. I'm listening to PM about the US economy as I type this.

For 10 years, I have not had a TV at all and I listen only to Radio 4, so no Countdown for me. I'm getting very excited about becoming eligible for a Saga holiday though and then a bus pass. I was thinking about it on the Afghan border last year, having travelled up the Khaiber Pass with a friend and thinking how nice it would be. After 26 miles on my bike yesterday, I thought perhaps I was being a bit premature at 48 ......... a nap sorted that out soon enough though.

The sad thing is that it's probably me at a whopping 34 years old .... and yet I bet you could all out-pedal me by miles!
I am 32, but I could be in my 70's by the time I decide which bike to get.
I usually listen to Radio 5. Obviously not as posh as you Radio 4 types;)

Well, you're both at the 'young uns' end Martin & Marilyn, but not the youngest! ;)...

...time to revive the cyclist age poll again, from page 36 of the index! :D

No breakdown of ages above 50 I'm afraid, Fred, but gives an idea of the wide age range of members :).

P.S. if you are in the age range 41-50, just ignore the typo & poll as 51-50!

Stuart.

:D maybe we need 2 polls then - one for actual age & one for how old you feel! (Or 3 - another one for how old your other half says you are!...;))
