Hi,
the forks on my Freego Eagle do not seem to have any movement in them at all. I have tried them in the unlock position and adjusting the preload but they just seem solid. They are RST Angel. Any advice

thanks gray

Hi Grey,

On mine, the forks are locked solid when the red selector on top of the right fork stanchion is moved fully anti-clockwise to the 'eleven o clock' position. If you move the selector clockwise by any more than 30 degs then the forks should compress about half the available length with the front brake on and a good push down on the handlebars. It could be, if you have the preload set very stiff that might give the same result?

Failing that, I would guess the selector is not operating the mechanism and the shop should be able to remedy this for you.

Not got much in myself lately. It has rained every day since the hosepipe ban came into force! I have had to console myself with an extended period of 'religeous service', and I can now say that my Eagle is very clean indeed!

Good luck with the forks.

Thanks Eaglerider
I have tried them in all positions on the preload and with the lock in both positions, but they won,t move at all. Guess I'll have to give the shop a call.
Like you I have not managed to get out much. Very frustrating but summers coming (or has it already been)

Finding my (electric) wheels
Gray,
I am sorry for my delay in reply but if you could email spares@freegoelectricbikes.com Macin will be very happy to help, are you near to the shop that sold you the bike? if so take it back and tehy will be able to resolve immediately, it is possible that with lack of use the forks have seized and if this is the case we will replace them immediately.
Thanks for your patience and I hope that we can sort this as soon as possible.
Kind Regards.

Martin.
