For Sale : 2008 Wisper 905 Sport £100

For Sale is my Wisper 905 Sport which I bought in 2008. This has been an exceptional bike commuting along the cycle path in to Bristol but is no longer used.

Has done about 25,000 miles - original motor and battery.
Schwalbe Marathon plus tyres front and back
Throttle
Front disc brakes
Battery charger

Just been out on it to check over, only went for a short trip approx. 5 miles but happily pushed me along and green light still showing when I got back. Obviously the battery will not last for ever so at some point that needs upgrading/replacing.

Based in Bristol, collection only. Ideal for someone dipping their toe in the ebiking water.

Although I already have 2 ebikes, I am strangely drawn to this!

I will go for a longer spin tomorrow, I would expect 10 miles easily on pedal assist, 15 miles may be pushing it now.

Does anybody know what the minimum rider height is for this bike?

Although I don't need it, I think my 16 year old daughter could make use of it, but she is only 5 feet tall.

It depends on riding style but 5'3" would be fine.

I am 5'6" and raise the saddle by about 5".

Thanks David - I think it's worth taking a look and getting her to give it a try.

At this price it would make a great bike for her to commute the 5 mile round trip to 6th Form - I think the battery should have enough welly in it to manage that.

It is certainly an excellent buy and as I say, even though the bike is 8 years old we still support it with spare parts.
