Folding ebike that can go off road

Well, some off road, not the black runs at the local trail centre, but a bit of singletrack fun.

So front suspension would be an advantage, it needs to be folding and preferably reasonably light weight.

Can anyone recommend something for a maximum budget of around £1,500?

whoosh Rambletta with front suspension? The single spring suspension is about 2kgs-2.5kgs lighter than the normal coil sprung front suspension fork.

Any chance of getting a bit more speed out of the Woosh, can it be de restricted?

Not looking to do 25mph but 20mph would be useful.

l managed to boost my Mirider by around 2mph by changing the wheel size on the control unit from 16" to 14" and it made all the difference.

You can fairly easily pedal the Rambletta to 20mph because it has a cassette instead of a freewheel, its smallest cog has 11 teeth instead of 13 teeth like on most folding bikes. Still, the motor won't do anything for you at that speed, the Rambletta's motor is optimised for 14mph-15mph.

The motor is the same as the Mirider and that will happily assist past 15mph. However the Mirider is a single speed so spins out at around 18mph.
l would imagine the Woosh having 8 gears would be better.

The motor spins still when you go over 15mph but hardly produces any push.
