Hi,

I've been browsing online and saw a few folding e-bikes

Would it be possible to get something entry level for >1K?

I am not entirely sure what's good or not

Thanks for the help

I will be commuting a bit in the roads, but mainly through canals about 6miles.

Hi and welcome to the forum. Have a look at this one: https://www.electricbikesales.co.uk/FreeGo-E-Bikes/Folding-Electric-Bike
With the discount we give to forum members we could get it down to within your budget.

If you can afford a few pounds more, the Wisper folder is superb, high end components and very importantly on any ebike it now has disc brakes front and back.

I have a couple of pre-production samples of the new Woosh Zephyr C and look for a buyer, £799.

It is a carbon belt bike with in-frame battery, in 10.4AH although it is compatible with the larger capacity 12.6AH used in the Zephyr 2017.

Carbon belt
3-speed Nexus IGH
Front Avid disc brakes, rear tektro V-brakes.
SR saddle
Leather grips
throttle
3 assist levels
10.4AH lockable battery (inside frame) with on/off switch and USB port.
Bafang motor

I have an AS Bikes Electrobike folder, mine is the two battery version.

Bought mine before the legislation change so has twist and go.

Once did 26 miles without pedalling at all.

Well built but heavy.
