Focus jarifa istreet 2017 impulse motor

I am about to purchase a new focus jarifa istreet 2017 which I believe comes with the impulse Evo motor. Have read here that there seemed to have been a lot of issues with the impulse 2.0 motor. Have these problems still stayed on? Has anyone had this bike and what are your experiences? Thanks. Feeling a bit nervous about the purchase now.

I had the Focus Jarifa MTB with the impulse motor in 2015 and it was great for four months until the motor went bang,i had to have two motors replaced in eighteen months.
The latest Impulse motor is supposed to be more reliable so you could be okay.

, I guess we will find out. I do like the bike so have given it a go. It's the impulse Evo RS motor, built 2016. Will report back to this post if it does fail. I will use it everyday for 32kms so should find out relatively soon whether it lasts. Thx guys.
