Flat Rides

Need to find some flat rides so that my partner can get some practice and confidence on her new bike. Found one that is close to me. Its the old West Meon to Wickham railway line. Anyone know of anything similar. Perhaps an old runway? Can you cycle around Silverstone or Donnington? What about horse race tracks? Do they have nice smooth paths around the circuits? ...

Short, scenic and flat with a surface you will probably find not too bad:
Hayling Billy off road cycle trail
The Broadlands Estate immediately to the South of Romsey has some nice park roads. Some good tarmac, some unsealed but OK. All flat.
