I did my first ride into our local town this morning, not very far (5 mile each way) Used my locks when I left the bike just for a short time but not a very commercial place so not too much of a worry. What was absolutely great was the freedom felt for not having to drive around looking for a parking place. Just jump off of the bike and it`s done
When I got back my monthly Cycling plus mag had been delivered and there was a DVD inside made by SIS the drinks and food makers for riding. Anyway they followed there team up one of the Tour de France routes into the Pyrenees. I was smiling to myself and thought how great it would be to come out of a side road near the end on the E bike and give them a run for the money They wouldn`t believe it!
