Hi from Leeds West Yorkshire Gods Own County! I bought a Cube kathmandu Pro last September and haven't looked back. Ive always had bikes (motor bikes too) and loved my bike as a kid and was always on it going somewhere. A bit of a break with family, kids, work etc but now back with avengence. I'm overweight and getting on a bit at 64 so the electric bike boom has got me going out and about most days of the week. I try to only use the battery when absolutely necessary, but it enables me to do 20/30 miles plus and gets me out in this great countryside. I love the freedom and the wind in my hair (underneath my helmet lol). Im getting a bit obsessed with it all now.

Hello
I'm new here too.
I'm particularly interested in buying a Kathmandu pro too. But I can't find one in stores only online. So I need some help with the size.
Can I ask you what type of frame do you have?
What size and what is your height.

Thanks for the help.

Hello and welcome. Im 5'3" and a fully paid up member of the short arse club. LOL. I found small or xs frames hard to find when I was looking. I ended up with a T50. T for trapeze. I found it absolutely fine once I was on it, but dismounting isn't easy but maybe that's just me! When I came off it and broke my ankle, when doing a little light off roading, I lost a bit of confidence in it. So I looked to see if I could find a step through, which I did online. I bought an xs frame Kathmandu Pro 500 . My other bike has the 625 battery. The frame is perfect for me but I have had loads of problems with both the headset and stem which is still not fixed after various attempts by my local bike shop to try and sort it. I will never buy another bike online. Its too far to take the bike back and can't say they've been very helpful. Hope this helps.

Hello

Thanks for your answer.
I would rather not buy a bike online but due to the pandemic there is almost no bike in stock in local shops. All the bikes that my nearest shop receive is allready sold when they come in. And there is more than 6 month wait if you order a bike now and you're lucky (it's more like a 9 month wait...) I found a Kathmandu pro available on a trusted website but I can't try the size. The only size they have is a Diamond S (50cm regular shape). I'm 171cm (5ft7 accroding to google), it's hard to compare with your T50 but I guess I'll have to have faith...
The website has a partnership with some locals store. And even have a Shop of their own about 100km from where I live, so maybe I will not have as much trouble as you with the bike if it'll need fixing.(fingers crossed)

(English is not my native language so please forgive me if there is some mistakes)
PS I hope that your ankle healed well

I reckon the 50 would be ok for u but don't take my word for it. Can you ring and ask their advice? Your English is fine - I can't speak any other language properly so am in awe! LOL.
Hope you get sorted.

I tried the size recommandation on the Cube website. And the 50 cm is what they recommend for my size. So I guess I should just go for it.
I was worried at first that the bike would be too small because I'm used to buy M size from other brands. But after checking the internet I think that the S cube would be fine.
