Hi,
I have just had my first summer electric biking. Following a stroke last year I had to give up driving so turned to electric biking for mobility. What I didn.t expect was so much fun!
I live close to the south downs near Brighton and have easy access to some fanatastic trails.
My bike is a Haibike Xduro FS, this has been incredible and an absolute gem. I used to ride motorcycles and can really appreciate just how good the engineering is on this bike. Now I am safely away from motorists (no comment!) I am experiancing great adventures, gentle motorsport and going places I've never been before on my doorstep! I love my bike and see at an electric assisted downhill MTB, its perfect.

Shame you had to suffer a stroke to discover the joy of ebiking.

The right bike in the right hands is a very happy combination.

This is not a very big forum, but we do have a handful of members in your part of the world.

I read somewhere on here they are trying to get together for a group ride and I'm they would welcome you along.

Hi Rob,
Thanks for your support.
Have met a couple of guys on the downs and my local Haibike dealer is great at supporting the e-bike community, looking forward to organising some good ride outs next spring, its a bit of a swamp at the minute. A guy near me (Tim) had a planned 6 Haibike Xduros doing the South Downs way, unfortunately he wasn't well and cancelled. Hopefully next year, and I'll post it of this forum.
