he's got 14 days to send it back if he's not entirely happy with it.
Far less risky than buying from a shop.

It was quick. And he has not test ridden anything else.
Stick to it and he should be happy.
Try some others out and the doubts may creep in.

Got my Big Bear today. Getting it road ready was easy enough.
Battery had some charge on it but don't think it was fully charged but just did a 20min ride on it which included a 141ft/1.3mile hill.

I basically stay in gear 7 all the time. I changed down twice to go up the steepest part of the hill to avoid wobble.

Love the bike though! It's very solid, heavy but not as much as I thought it would be.
Seat is excellent with shock absorbing post. Lights are really good.
It's very smart and it DOES feel like riding a moped.

You do have to learn to ride these things a bit at first - watch the throttle assist if on max when turning at a junction as it kicks in quite hard and pulls you back.

I had no problem on the hills. I did have a bit of front wheel slip and felt I wanted to stand up on the very steep parts (which I did). When I stood, the hill was ever more easy!

The sound of the front wheel takes a bit of getting used to if you're not used to it.
I'm going to charge it not fully and get out again later.
All in all very happy after a couple of hours. My only concern is that I was going to put panniers on the back but don't what this to cause the front to slip more. We'll see.

Also notice you can change the max speed in the computer settings but it doesn't seem to make much difference.

Having this bike definitely makes things much more convenient. It's easier to get out and faster but I was still peddling and putting as much effort as a normal bike. This is down to my style of riding but it IS what I wanted. The pulse is still racing and I got a workout.

The maximum speed is what the controller will allow. They normally go up to something like 40 km/h. Unfortunately, the motor has its own maximum speed, which is somewhere around 30km/h, so the LCD setting will make a difference between 25 and 30 km/h, but no difference thereafter.

Been looking for panniers for my wifes Big Bear. The battery is very close to the rack bar and my Axioms won't fit. There's not enough clearance between rack and battery for the clip. So looked for a double, but the rack is 180mm wide so not sure if they will span it.
If you find any to suit let us know.
I have panniers on my own Ezee conversion and it seems to make no difference to the drive wheel. All the weight is over the rear axle not behind it.

We have bag holders that attach to Hebie rear battery racks and are used on Ansmann bikes, they would probably fit most standard rear racks, but I would need to check.
We have them in stock and they cost £16.95 for a pair, or buy an Ansmann and get them free;)
