The Shimano is much the same as the 2 slot Wolf Tooth, the other WT mounts just give more positioning choice so the battery can be mounted as low as possible.
The grooves in the WT allow for a cable ties to pass through and around the down tube.

It's not nearly as bad as you might infer reading these forums Andybike - installing my bbs01b kit only took 2 hours, and for nearly all of those 2 hours I was hammering like a madman on the bottom bracket because the damn axle wouldn't come out, otherwise it would have been a 30 to 45 minute job. The plugs of the electrical connectors only fit together in one permutation. But you prefer the Tongsheng with cadence sensor as I recall, which others here have.
