I will have to check how Australia interpret the rules for 250w I know they must have PAS and cut out at 25 kph.
Edit: Found it throttle in Oz can only assist to 6kph, so would not help for traffic.
You have the EU law in every respect now, previously your law was more aligned to the old UK EAPC regulations which we still have in a weird dual law situation for the time being.

Our UK law will be changing to closer alignment with the EU, 2016 is the target date, and we don't know if throttles will be allowed at all pedelec speeds beyond that date. We've been assured existing e-bikes will not be affected though.

Not at all offensive, the trikes dont have a high enough assist to use ATM so if I continue to be able to ride the Tonaro I will upgrade the assist on one of them down the track.
If you haven't ridden a low recumbent trike, its worth doing they are great fun especially with hills and corners :D

I used to have a TW Bents Artifice with an eZee conversion and agree they are great fun especially on ice........if you can remember ice;)
