Yes. It is near Jonsered old factory town (like Ironbridge in UK). It was a scottish gentleman named William Gibson that built up everything here. Lovely place. One of the few living old factory towns in Sweden.
A Jonsered was the first chainsaw that I ever bought. Kind of a poor mans Husqvarna, but still a fantastic saw, that was ahead of it's time. Scary to think that was some 33 years ago now.
Sitting here having a bored few minutes, and prompted by Warwick's proposed Boxing day ride, I thought that I would look at the ride stats for last December. I'd forgotten just how muddy and horrid that it was, and how rank that the Xmas Day ride was. The conditions were bad enough that I was the only one that turned up for it! Judging by the ride titles, November wasn't much better.
It'll be interesting to see who turns up this year for the annual Xmas Day morning ride.
I have a Purion lined up, and couldn't decide which bike to fit it to, but decided that I as get more use and fun from the hardtail, that I would put it on that instead. I also decided to fit the correct motor cases back onto the Macina Lycan..
Took a ride through the forrest downtown. Not often I'm there these days so it was cool exploring the hills in the city. I was up to a few churches and then crossed a great bridge with nice view.
