Nice pictures soundwave. Good to see you away from the canal tow path! Yesterday I was riding with a mate in The Peak District. We rode 117 miles, as much off road as possible, (a lot using a gpx file route supplied by a local friend). Our loop was centered around Buxton. Not on ebikes, we had taken our two Honda dirt bikes up in his van on Thursday, spent the night in a cheap hotel, gone out on the lash, and then ridden on Friday, shoving our bikes back in the van and driving back home on Friday. A great days riding. Lots of stunning views and rocky trails in beautiful countryside. We find riding on a weekday better as we come across far fewer people. All the routes we rode were legal for motorcycles.

and now my bike is brand new again this thing will be a decade old in less than 2 years and still kicking ass why would i buy a new one they look nice just not for 10k and a fkn brose motor:rolleyes:

my 2016 batt has had 75 charge cycles so my old 400w batt that i used on its own for 2 years must be double that if not more but i do use a dongle.

Bosch actually guarantees their batteries for 2 years or 500 charge cycles (whichever comes first). This doesn't mean your battery will pack up after 2 years and 1 day. In fact, Bosch themselves state that the battery should be good for around 10 years or 1500 full charge cycles

so the batt might still work in 10 years time but it wont be usable as my 400 is toast and no option but to buy there rip off batts for £633 and £25 in petrol because they wont post it.

0.4 of a mile an hour under 40 mph. A three mile sprint. Depending on your gearing you must have been spinning fast.

If Peter is super busy, is that purely down to repairing mid drives /servicing them ?

Good job then there is an independant repair service avialable then as a lot of out of warranty bikes will be of scrap value or will become spares or repairs only.

he is a bosch dealer as needs the software but as for frame batts he has a 18 month back log so had to hunt the country for 1 in stock, and that's all i found 1 in Hereford and of course they wont post it so had a 60 mile round trip to go it.

a$$hole has them in stock but only for customers that bought the bike direct from them

but he wont touch shitmano motors so dont buy any bike with one of those on it or will turn in to a money pit when warranty ends.

Nice pictures Zlatan, I have had two trips this year to The Peak District, one on road motorbikes and one on off road motorbikes, both fabulous and both taking in Lady Bower.

Thanks
Was stunning up there yesterday and even managed route around back of lake (normally go along Snake pass to get to end of lake, its usually a quagmire) but was bone dry)
Enjoying Giant Fathom, definitely out climbs Haibike (even though effectively same motor) but both wheel bearings have now cried enough. (changing under warranty)
