Am I missing something? They are long, but what I watched looked pretty dull. Can someone point me to a section of the video that's interesting?
Looks to have been inspired by boudicca. What could possibly go wrong!!!!!!

Or rather, what did go wrong!!!
Some idiot (me) ran the blade of the slasher up their hand when they removed it from the bike! It was one of those, oh s##t it is too deep to bleed cuts that didn't even hurt. All in the name of sport.

Weirdly none. The cut just seemed to close itself up, and didn't reopen.Ouch, ouch, ouch. So how many stitches ?
Sorry if you thought I was having a dig at you, that wasn't my intention. I was just surprised to see that Golspie is a Black run as I didn't see anything particularly challenging on the video (admittedly, I did get bored and skipped around a bit). I'm no downhill hero myself, I'm pushing 50 and arthritic but I like to have a go, even if I do get passed by toddlers and the occasional snail!Doomanic,
I watched these then went on youtube and watched some more. I'm not the bravest of peeps being 54 and female, I don't do huge jumps or big drops offs, but will give most things ago. I just wanted to know how technical it could be and if I was up to it. Golspie looks the hardest for me, the others look fun.
The date has been set for the 2018 edition of the biggest show in freeride mountain biking: Red Bull Rampage returns to the Virgin, Utah, desert on October 26, 2018.No offence taken Doomanic, takes a lot to get to me. Just a reminder that sometimes I'm a bit of a wuss . Just the thought of me hitting the ground with big rocks in the way, gets the better of me and eats at my confidence.
Deree John, it certainly does look a little bit more touring, maybe it's more of a bike pack day instead
