Was looking at the grande, and just spotted the selller put the price up by £50.
Are these the bikes where the battery clip can break?

Quite possibly. Not a lot of support there for the battery pack. At that price point nothing on the bike is going to be great quality. Looks like the seller has sold a few already and trying to cash in for Xmas.
Have a look online for reviews of Elife bikes.
