Eleglide M1 plus 12.5 36v battery

I am trying to get a Eleglide M1 plus 12.5 36v battery for my bilke in the UK but everywhere seems to be out of stock. Does anyone know where I can get one, is there a problem with them, will I get one eventually. could i use the M1 plus 7.5 36v battery as an alternative.

It looks like a generic Chinese battery. Where is the controller? In battery base?
Can you post some pictures?

I wouldn't use 7.5Ah battery.

I've been offered M1 7.5Ahs and told It can also work M1 plus 27.5 and 29” but not sure what difference the 7.5 will make as should be 12.5- does any one know please

It just will have much less range (3/5 ths) and as with any battery , as you use the battery the voltage drops and you get less power (but because it is a very small battery the voltage will drop quicker)

I would seriously investigate AZ's option - you could get a 3rd party battery 36V 15 Ah or 20 Ah and I don't think it would be too difficult to fit. The controller is between the battery and the motor - sometimes it is in the battery housing, but you basically need to connect the battery to the controller (2 wires)

It looks like a standard Hailong case to me. They're all over Ebay, Amazon and Aliexpress as well as available from all our favourite suppliers. You need to take your battery off and take some decent photos of it because there are some minor differences in the various types.

12.5 and 7.5 are the number of amp-hours in each one, which is the capacity. You can get a battery with whatever capacity you want. Generally, the more amp-hours, the heavier the battery. The more capacity, the further you can go and you get slightly more power.

The specific Eleglide battery will most likely be a lot more expensive than an identical unbranded one.

On Ali Express it is best to message the seller and enclose photos etc - my experience is they have been very helpful and I have always ended up with what I wanted.

Might be a good opportunity for you to upgrade. Batteries sold by Eleglide are expensive and probably using cheap Chinese cells.
