Just spotted this bike from Eurobike 2013 PDF catalog:

Electrolyte Straßenfeger - Pedelec with a Revolutionary New Drive
System
The Straßenfeger is one of three e-bike models, which are equipped with
the new Electrolyte drive system. Motor, battery and controller are fully
integrated in an innovative single-sided swingarm, which drives the front
wheel. Because of the encapsulated design, the individual components are
better protected against dirt and moisture and require little maintenance.

What do you think?

thank you for the link. I like the idea of a bigger version of the GoCycle but I am not so sure about the battery location. I thought the designer tries to make a point. He should place the battery somewhere more accessible.
Another titbit of news I picked up from Eurobike 2013 catalog, mifa.de's takeover of Grace. Mifa make cheaper big volume e-bikes. Does it mean the market momentum is shifting towards cheaper models?

I think more likely Mifa moving to the more lucrative up-market, that's the usual background to such moves.
