I've always managed to do my own repairs on my pedal-cycle,but now I'm about to enter the mysterious world of the pedelec with ,a certain amount of trepidation regarding the electrical side of it.Is it possible for the layman to tackle most of the common electrical faults that occur on the average pedelec and are there any books on pedelecs ,especially concerning the electrics? Thanks a lot Condor.

I admit to being a complete and utter plank when facing work on these newfangled electric bikes but have managed so far thanks to the excellent advise given on this forum.

My situation and my thoughts last year and I found lots of nice and helpful folk on here who gave me electrical advice when I needed it.
I don't think you'll need a book, just read up on here.
You won't regret going electric.:)
