I need an electric bike as am slowing down. Now over 70 with heart valve replaced.
Basic needs are STEP THRO bike. I have a ezee torq currently which I have a new lithium polymer battery which is giving me high mileage journeys. Would like to use this battery if poss as it is a 14 AH one.
Disk Brakes Sprung forks probable 26 inch wheels Prefer hub gears. My ezee torq is around 5 Years old and has been brilliant but time to move on. It is too big for me now.
Any Help appreciated. Prefer motor in front wheel.

Terry welcome to the forum.

Tilson I think Terry wants us to comment all all those items in terms of a possible new bike and might have misunderstood the poll function.

Regards

Jerry

Welcome to the forum, Terry. I'm glad some younger people are joining! Try as many bikes as you can. J and I total 149 years, have a collection of four ailments all beginning with the letter 'A', and enjoy our JuicyBikes Classics. Step-through, good luggage carriers & durable and reliable. Other makes are available.
I don't know about using your battery with other makes of bike but there are more knowing people than I on this forum.
Best wishes,
Tom.

Thanks, I understand now. After clearing that up, I don't think that I can add anything useful. However, welcome to the forum Terry. It's generally a friendly place and you will receive good advice from knowledgeable members.

It seems the eZee Sprint Primo fits your needs, takes exactly the same battery, has sprung forks, front motor, 26" wheels and a hub gear, all at just £750

Hi Terry,

Just to repeat Flecc's post we would be happy to supply you with a stepthru frame eZee Sprint Primo and it would be logical to make use of the 14Ah eZee battery that you already have.

Please let me know if we can help you Terry.

Regards,

That makes a great deal of sense - I hate the idea of wasting a perfectly decent battery.

The requirement of wanting to use the Ezee battery has me stumped. surely if you fancy a change best to get a good price for bike with new battery and move on....

Just remember you have been spoilt as you have one of them most powerful hub bikes going. and step through bikes are always heavier then the cross bar type as swan neck frames have to be beefier

My recommendation is the Haibike low step Trekking with latest Bosch crank drive.

I accept your comments Eddie, the bikes are quite different.

Some people just want a bike to go from A to B and both of them will do that;)

What the hell is wrong with this thread ??????

It keeps showing that John is answering every few hours, when he has patently said all he needed to say on the 11th April :)

Site glitches ?
Will post this to try to kick start it or....stop it from happening again....... :D

The topic gets bumped to the top every time someone votes on the poll.
