Mine was front wheel motor with cradle frame and battery sitting between the tubes. Brakes were woeful compared to my hydraulic discs now. Battery had to be reconditioned and the company supplied a custom made box sent to owners, battery packed off and it would be returned in the same box in readiness for the next recon. I think I remember each recon was £70 but that was about 15 years ago so a tad expensive. I remember the bike was £700 new which was a lot for me then.
It certainly was, more motorbike like and a shock to anyone unsuspecting going to move it as if it were a bicycle.The weight was horrendous and the centre stand was a necessity.
