I have used two Electric Bromptons, both have made a signicant differance to ease of peddling, the benefit is most noticable on the hills.

You will also likely find you dont use the gears much at all.

And a tip, I have a Brompton with the battery on the front bag block as well.

If you have a rear rack on the Brompton with wheels on, you can fold the Brompton up and push it around inside shops like a shopping trolley, safer than leaving it locked up outside.

An extension bar that costs as much as £4 and fitted to the right rear wheel on the rack should help reduce the risk of the folded Brompton from tipping over.

The frog battery I've seen has a red light on it for when mounted on the rear, useless for the front. @Woosh Can there be a choice, a replacement white lens appropriate for the front?
