Picking new bike up this weekend, dealer has offered insurance at various costs and levels of cover. What do folk reckon cheapest, best cover is ??
Bike is a Haibike Hardseven, would like cover whilst abroad and bike is on back of vehicle ( locked to it)
Cheers

Best quote I have had so far is with Pro-Cycle insurance at £103 for the year, I think I excluded foreign travel on my quote though.

Home Contents cover upgrade is not giving me enough re-assurance at the moment, seem to be too many grey areas that the advisor didn't seem to know for sure. I will try them again before committing though.

Had Bikmo recommended but at £158 sounds steep....having it listed in house contents works out about £4 a month...put it on that until I,ve seen new policy. Said over phone it,s covered all risks, locked to car , in use, in house or abroad ?? Sounds too good to be true ????

Most people get their electric bike insured through a home content insurance, usually for very cheap or free. If your existing home insurance can't do it, can be cheaper to change than buy a bike-specific insurance.

Don't forget third-party liability insurance too, in case you create damage and injury while on your bike.
