Hi,
I've just purchased a set from ebay including a rear taillight, break light and indicators integrated, and a front headlight with a horn,
All is working fine apart from the break light I have one break with the switch installed that I got with my motor kit
But when I connect the break switch to the wire "break lever"(see pic) and connect the "Break controller"(see pic) to the controller the break light stays on with no lever function,
Is there anything I could do to fix this any help will be appreciated thank you

The brake switch is on in all positions of the lever except when it's fully home. You have to have the lever actually connected to a properly adjusted brake cable to pull it home at rest.

Ah ok so it's not working because there's no cable connected?
And would it be better if I use the hydraulic breaks with the switches in?

It makes no difference as far as your brake light is concerned. The brake switch is just a switch to switch the light on. there are two types of hydraulic switches. one type has three wires and the other two. you need the two wire type.

Hydraulic brakes would be better for your bike, so best to use them if you can.

The hydraulic brak switches might have a different connector. you can cut them off and join the wires.
