`ebike battery issue

So i brought a ebike battery with lg cells 24ah 48v well iv had it 8 weeks only was brand new iv messaged ebay and ebay seller well its only been 3 hours sinse i pm them but in case they dont reply my battery was at 60% and so i took it off of my bike to charge and i put it on for 3 hours i use a socket timer so i dont over charge so it full it also shows as full when using the battery own power lever lights but no power is going to my controller i think the bsm may has failed but would like more info on this i now have no way of going out as i cant walk far so any help would be cool also how much would it cost about to have a new bsm fitted to it!

Check if all cables are plugged all way in battery is charged to 100% when there is green light on charger is display on or not check battery voltage when it is fully charged!

The only way to know is to measure the voltage on the battery terminals, which should have been done before contacting the seller. You did remember to switch the battery on, right?

Downtube UPP battery on a kit bike? Check your wires from controller to the battery cradle. If you soldered your own connector, look at your work.

Also look at where the battery connects to the cradle pins. A long time ago, I had the connector on the battery side get unscrewed and it fell into the battery. No power connection,
