Why has he got 100% postive feedback, with 800 feedbacks left then? Surely, he can't be that bad...
In case anyone wants to do this I can confirm you can swap the LCD on the 250w rear hub conversion kit for the LED supplied by pandabikes. I have just done it and it works fine. I reckon it might work on the other hub kits he supplied as well. I got confirmation from Kunteng first who replied straight away saying it was compatible. I bought a speed restricted one form panda. If you make up a special cable you can program the LED using your LCD to push the parameters you want. I prefer the LED as it takes up less space and i like to have my phone mounted in the centre. Also as i understand it to comply to the regulations you should not a have a accessible means to de-restrict the bike (which the LCD provides) so i feel this LED makes the kit a bit more compliant.
On the subject of this sellers aftersales support, I have not had any malfunction so no need to use the warranty. I did misplace my stickers that show the manufacturer, max speed and voltage though and when I contacted him he sent me out a new set on next day post (which pleased me). I also like the completeness of the kits and the fact you get all the tools you need. I am not a bike mechanic so i don't have these things lying around. Also in the kit was a USB pen with a video on guiding you through the build which i thought was helpful. Also the seller answered a lot of questions for me throughout the build.
As this is Kunteng kit spares should be possible to get hold of. I hope i don't have to make a warranty claim and if i do i hope the after sales support will be as good as the support i have received so far.
It's supposed to be 13AHr, though as SpezElec mentioned it's unmarked and I'm not taking it apart to look at the cells.
My range issue was largely down to a binding rear wheel. Having repaired that the same ride has the third bar just going out (50% remaining). That translates to a range of about 25 miles, in line with the 20-30 advertised. I'm still "conditioning" the battery as well (this is only it's second charge) so it should get even better.
Worth noting that this is 12.5miles with a 500' altitude gain as well. It's downhill going home...
I had quick replies back to my eBay messages to the seller and spoke to the gentleman on the phone twice, both times at just after 08.00 a.m., the phone was picked up immediately, my "dumb questions" answered patiently and satisfactorily. I found him to be a very nice guy, I'd buy from him again without hesitation.

I finally got my eBay e-bike kit up and running, I could have completed it sooner but kept getting called away. Took it out today and did 12.5 miles over very undulating terrain on, according to the display, half the battery power, I'm pleased with that. I intend to do the same circuit again tomorrow to run the battery down. O.T., there's a long climb out of our town and I couldn't resist passing a couple of old codgers, winding their supermarket MTBs up the hill, and giving a cheery "Mornin" as I passed them. If I hadn't got the "power" I'd have been joining them.

I bought a 500 watt kit from them and I would rate it as the best item I have ever bought off eBay : the kit was complete with everything I needed to fit onto my bike including the crank puller, the video instructions were invaluable and the advice and help given was 100%
I get 25 miles plus out of the battery with a great turn of speed, I now find myself using the bike when previously I would have used the car. My friends have all tried it and one by one I notice their bikes are now sporting these kits- all say it arrived within 24 hours and comment on friendly and informed service.
As a bit of a winter project I intend to buy another kit to fit to my wife's rather dated bike as she now feels inclined to join in the fun.

I'm a little late in replying in this thread, I bought the same 500W kit as in olden's previous post and agree entirely with his comments. One reason I delayed posting is, to my shame, I've only been out on the bike twice since I converted it, but I did two 10 mile plus rides on a fully charged battery, over hilly terrain no one but a masochist on a human powered bicycle would chose to ride over, so the fully charged battery should be more than ample to cover far more miles over less undulating roads than I used. I confess I did open it up on battery alone on one flat stretch of road but chickened out when I hit 30mph!! and throttled back. My bike now sits fully charged, gathering dust, in my garage waiting until I get time to take it out again, or until my wife says it's getting in her way and it's destined to spend the rest of it's life in my shed.
I like the look of these 500W rear wheel hub motor kits, everything about them is better than the 8fun kit i have fitted currently...... More power, a third more battery range and the wheel matches my current ones with black rims. Its a good price at under 400 sovs as well.

I bought a ready built bike from them with the 500 watt rear drive and have had it for a few months now.
Excellent value for money currently getting about 25/30 miles on a charge and I'm about a 100 kilo, easy to reach 20+ mph and handles very well. Recently had failed charger phoned them up and received a replacement within a few days, very pleasant people to deal with.

They're still getting lots of positive feedback. Nice to know that there are quality bikes and kits available for those on a tight budget.

She has to carry the trash out to our wheelie bin which also wakes me up from my snooze on the couch.
A couple of things to bear in mind. The combined weight of the battery and motor is 15KG, which, together with the drag of the hub motor&wheel bearing, means you have some resistance to over come when free wheeling or pedalling without the battery power, the extra weight also affects the braking performance of which ever type of brakes you have. I'm not sure if a crank drive motor is similar, i.e weight and drag? For example, if I span the front wheel of my bike with it's previous wheel off the ground it would continue spinning for some time but with the hub motor fitted it only spins for a few seconds.
15kg extra are you sure !!!!!!. Each of my kits add about 6-7kg, geared hub or CD approx. 3.3kg and 15ah battery 3.2kg.

would a front wheel 250w kit fit and be ok with this? re the forks.
secondly a bit confused re a 500 w rear wheel kit (possible buy cheapish mtb from Halfords/bt win) add kit and have a lighter bike than my ready kudos?
I thought 500w was illegal on road, (only ok off road)?
I can see no mention of a controller anywhere or is it inside the battery.
oxygen kits are dearer is it worth the extra. I have no idea on eclipse kits or woosh.
but I would like more range over my 10.4ah and the kits offer 5 levels of assist over my 3.
almost forgot if a twist throttle is opted for would it be full speed (15mph) or only walk assist?
