hi aoll looking for the correct spec wire for to make up some different ebike battery leads

Plenty on ebay look for AWG silicone wire.
14 awg is what you need has a 32a approx load rating more then ample for most needs.

12 awg about 45a rating & 16 awg about 22a rating if you go too small then wiring gets warm/hot.
