I built my first lecky bike (kit) a few months back which sounds similar to yours. I didn't post pics or a write up of it as I got the impression that "illegal" sized bikes were slightly fowned upon on the site.
Whether I got the right or wrong impression, I'm very happy with it and am now hooked.

There may be a few frowners, but i am sure most people on here are interested in any electric bike or kit,and especially welcome all pictures and write ups from other members.

I would email the supplier of the motor, and tell them what controller you are trying to connect it to,if you are lucky they may be able to offer some possible combinations that may work, although the 3 phase wire colours match this does not mean they are correct,in general the only colours that match correctly from controllers are the black and red hall sensor wires unless you can find somebody that has matched your particullar motor and controller, there are hundreds of possible connections that you could try without success otherwise, endless sphere might be worth a try,but this is a bit specialist and will requre you to ask for specific help on connecting your make of motor, on a new thread both here and on the sphere.

I would love to see some pics and hear of any issues ye had fitting these kits :)

Afraid I can't help you with the controller diagram Fatts - you might keep us informed as to how you get on.

Dual power Subevo, must go well!

Do you use them separately normally, hub motor for speed and Panasonic unit switched on for climbing, or both
on for fast hill climbing?

Wow subevo thats an impressive looking setup! The motors must power you along on any slope. What kind of performance are you getting?

with my old ezee liv front motor i needed both motors to help maintain speed up steep hills on the lafree.
with this motor i can power up hills at 20mph easy.i will use lafree motor for exercise and front motor for flattening hills of which there are many.my opinion is this is how e-bikes should be .just hope reliability is good.top speed is good for a bit of excitement now and again .i was looking to buy the alien aurora i think its called but at £1000 i couldnt afford it.with this setup ive got now £235 delivered free.its a bargain.another option i was considering was overvolting the ezee liv motor to 48volts but wasnt sure about the wiring.the bike wasnt being used lately.but now i cant wait to get on it.was going to order a continent 9 motor from the usa but the chinese one was much cheaper for similar performance.

Nice setup, it looks like you had to spread the forks a lot looking at how far out your nuts are, I have a rear wheel motor. http://www.pedelecs.co.uk/forum/electric-bicycles/4238-1000w-48v-hub-conversion-kit.html If you haven't got toque arms on the motor be very careful, that much power will pull the wheel out of the dropouts, also keep a close eye on the forks if they are alloy, you will be cruising for a brushing if the wheel parts company with the forks or the forks snap under stress, I can tell you from experience there will be no warning of the inevitable face plant.
If you what more speed for little money you could try this Delta Star setup cost in parts to convert 15 pounds.
ImageShack Album - 14 images top speed so far around the 40 mph mark on level ground.

Timely warning from aaannndddyyy, the Lafree frame and forks are quite soft alloy, there's been a few cases of
the hub gear spindles turning and widening out the dropout slots. A torque arm on that front motor might be a
wise precaution.

thanks for the advice.luckily i changed the front forks to the ezee liv ones which are steel.i have two heavy washers with tabs i hope thats enough to stop it turning.the new motor was much narrower than the standard ezee liv motor .i had to add spacers.im interested in the £15 mods you done.i cant get the jist of it from the pictures can you explain.
