I've had 62mph out of my electric bike, Down hill mind you but I must have been in the zone that day because I didn't realise until 3 days later when I checked my top speed. but I have disk brakes and full suspention

Don't know if that's classed as really fast on my bike but I was really surprised when I realised
I do miss the faster commute [emoji23] my vulcan e does not appear to be able to be derestricted so feels a bit like a slug compared to the petrol bike.. but it is a lot more relaxing without all the noise and vibration. ..for more enjoyable for everyday riding

You can derestrict my giant but I don't know if they can tell at giant and because of the warranty I don't want to do it until it runs out. I think its two years warranty and they wont replace the motor if I have problems. £2800 is a lot of money to risk. no idea what a new motor would cost but it wouldn't be cheap. Id bet £1000 at least and they would probably tell me my motor is discontinued because they brought another one out the Pro one so Id probably have to buy that version and have it fitted by them for a warranty on it. Id not use it on the road mind you that's illegal just on private land. I wouldn't break the 15mph speed limit on an assisted bike its too dangerous on the road

No use of one but I have considered buying one previously. Considering how long this model has been on the market and its very low price I wouldn't hesitate if going ahead.
