Does anyone know the spec of the Woosh TSDZ2 kit,

Slightly confused (normal) on the woosh site the are selling the TSDZ2 as 48V 250W does anybody know if this is the 36V version with a 48V battery or the 48V version somehow derated to 250W?

it's the 48V version that Tongsheng made for Woosh.

The hoses mouth, perfect. In that case I would like to use a rack battery, the only one I can find (that doesnt look like a brick) is 48V 10.6Ah, continuous discharge 15A and max 25A obviously I wont get the range but would it be suitable for the motor?

that's a bit low. The TSDZ2 can pull 16A-17A if you push hard (most people who need e-bikes don't have the strength so it won't go that high). The rule of thumb is don't pull more than 1.5C to avoid stressing the battery.
C=10.6A in your case.

Some of us have the experience of 10.4 Ah batteries suffering after being used with a mid-motor. I don't think they (mid-motors) draw more current than a hub motor but they seem to ramp up the power much more quickly and the cells in your 10.6 Ah battery won't like that very much... I get around that problem by using LiPo which can handle the current draw and if I need more range, in parallel with the tired Li-Ion battery - that makes it a 20 Ah battery.
