A relative has got a problem with the power cutting out on his Viking E-go. We suspect that there could be a broken wire where the cable enters the "throttle"/battery level indicator as the cable is hanging out by its wires and he says it started working when he pushed the cable sheathing into the control.
I tried prying the case open, but there was no sign of any clips giving, so it might be glued, although I could feel a recess under the front label which might conceal a screw (under the "980" marking), but the size and positioning makes me think it is quite likely to be an unused hole for a third membrane switch.
So I thought I'd ask before I damage it by using more force, or rip off the front label which may hold leaf switches in place.
Cheers! Mel.
