Do ebike controllers protect SLA batteries?

That's some weight!!
That is the reason I stuck to the lower power, 24v 250watt as I knew Id only need the two SLA batteries, the power in that is fine for me aswel.

I suppose the best thing for you to do is to start saving for a Lithium battery!! I think I am going to purchase one later in the year. Im guessing one your size of bike will be about 400 quid though!
