I might make up an intermediate jumper lead incorporating two or three for discharging the 33 cell battery. Got a line socket, but run out of XLR plugs, so another raid on Maplins due!
.
That was my plan, but I too am out of XLR's. As all my batteries are identical I incorporated the diodes into the charger cable, which needed extending anyway. They are mounted on a bit of stripboard encased in a short length of plastic tube, the ends closed with shrink tube. The diodes dissipate about 1/3 of a watt each so I cut some slots in the tube for ventilation.

Another round tuit dealt with.:)

A friend of mine (no, really! :D) has had an electric bike kit fitted and the 36V NiMH battery charger is the same make & model no. as my Ezee NiMH charger - High Power HP8208N3, except that his is 2A output while on mine the stated output has been modified (by a labelled sticker) to read 2.6A.

Based on this, is it possible to say whether he could also use the discharging charger, or is more information needed to decide and if so, what?

Would be good if it will work, can then order 2 at the same time :).

Thanks,

Stuart.

Yes, it will work ok Stuart, and now's the best time to buy with today's exchange rate. Postage should be cheaper for two as well.

The output current only affects the charge duration.
