The chainstay on the Rose has two enclosed slots, and the dropout is a separate metal plate.

Neat enough, but I suspect if the plate was mounted for a much shorter chain the tyre would foul the mudguard.

Yes as I remembered, with the vertical drop-out you could easily add a tensioner if you felt the need, on my horizontal drop out I had to remove a tab from the tensioner plate.

Yes, I was thinking about getting another battery so that we would have 3 between 2 - give us 50% more range.
I have two batteries now, so 700 wh. I still haven't mastered the art of riding hills in anything but turbo yet.

I didn't use turbo on that ride - trying to make the battery last, but I sometimes ride without power up quite steep hills so that I don't lose my fitness.
