I'm pretty much decided I'm going to buy a Woosh Camino, so my thoughts have now turned to security.

I intend to buy a Sold Secure Gold D lock and cable for this purpose, however what is available regarding storage for this? (On my current bicycle, I have a chain which I can wrap round the seat post and part of the rear rack, so it's quite convenient to carry and use.)

A mate adapted 3 tool clips. 1 on the stem and 2 on the bars. Kept it out the way but ready to grab to thump some dozy driver(his explanation)

You can buy D-locks complete with a bracket to fit onto the bike that you clip the lock into. The brackets come in various sizes, I have an Abus D-lock with a bracket that I’ve secured to one of the seat stays. My sister has another make, not sure which, with a bracket secured to the down tube, ugly but very convenient. The cable could then be wrapped around the seat post and held with a cheap padlock.

If no frame clips cam with the bike simply buy some double sided velcro.

Both D locks I bought recently came with frame mounting kits. I use a sold secure Gold with ground anchor in the garage and carry a sold secure Silver mounted to the frame for out and about. This combo satisfies my insurance T&Cs.

I'll have to do that - my D-lock frame mount snapped lol.
