Website has products on now although Torq spec is different to the one 50 cycles used to sell as it now seems to have a front Vbrake and it is implied that its de-restrictable.

Looks like a purchase if thats the case!

No, misreading I think, that is the same Torq II with disc front brake. The reference to caliper is to the disc caliper.

This bike is slower than the Torq I, and didn't have a derestrict facility.

That spec has changed since I read it and posted. It clearly said vbrake and it clearly said 20mph but limited to the european maximum.

not being in business so im probably total wrong, but if i was selling something i would read the details on my product and put the right ones down.... or is that just me a perfectionist ?...

A case of the manufacturer providing the wrong info probably. And in fairness they do reserve the right to change the spec. good job really

not wanting to start any arguments with you, but when you say they have the right to change the spec..i dont think i need to check with a lawyer to check my thoughts that i dont think anyone has the right to change something to something that is not correct....you cannot advertise what isnt..

These are all irritating little phrases with no legal basis but which are used to kid people into believing they have fewer rights than is actually the case. I don't believe that using them reflects well on a seller (or landowner...)

i love the "failure to inspect the goods befor signing for delivery one".. can you imagine a driver happily sitting by for 15 minutes while you undo the reinforced box's with a crowbar.. and then wait while you check it out....its so easy to miss things..i took previous bike to have new innertubes with gunk fitted and was out the shop and just by chance started talking to shop owner outside when he noticed the inner tube just about coming out of the tire as he had inflated it so much ..so if he, his lad in shop and me got it out the shop without noticeing i think there is more then a good chance of missing something small yet crucial on rushing your bike inspection..after all bike very occasionally come from the shops after they have done their initial check and even the pro's can miss things....i know the city link driver who delievers to me has anything up to 80 deliveries each day on his van so he would keel over laughing if i asked him to wait .....

Cyclepoint should be congratulated on providing such comprehensive specifications for the bicycles they will be selling, as far as I know no one else provides such detailed information. Obviously the site is brand new and may have a few errors to be corrected, but as they don't yet seem to be offering to take orders that should not be a problem.

Agreed, Ian - a pretty good site with fuller than normal descriptions. I don't mean to be churlish about the odd comment which is no worse than seen on many other sites.

Also, as has been remarked elsewhere, it is good to see them stocking the motor in kit form (although one detail missing is the wheel size!), thereby serving an additional market segment with a high cost, but doubtlessly good quality, solution.

I wish Cyclepoint and well and am sure that they will help Ezee to bounce back in the UK.
