To me, the standard firmware seems to be pretty good. What do you want to improve?Has anyone mucked about with custom firmware? Any pitfalls to avoid? Is it a daft idea?
what exactly? have you set your throttle as a power over-ride with P4=1 and C4=3?Ay a push changing the assist output percentages might be useful.
All working correctly. Throttle override is set up like that with P4 at 1 and C4 at 3.what exactly? have you set your throttle as a power over-ride with P4=1 and C4=3?
Can you explain point 2 again in a simple way for thicko? I can't make any sense from it. My C5 is on 10, and it never changes. You know about the custom firmware project on Endless Sphere? It went on for a while, but is no longer supported.
My wish list for KT firmware would be
1. Input wheel diameter in mm, not presets.
2. Keep a default C5 of 10 on assist level 4 always, Then you don't lose max current.
However, if this were available in custom firmware, it's not worth the headaches to install. The KT works great. Why complicate or break it,
C5 lowers the max current, right? Have it apply only for PAS1 -3, and not on PAS4. Not really a big deal I often lower C5 to keep the same speed in PAS 1/2 when switching between 36V and 48V batteries. Would be nice to keep the max current in PAS 4. STill, it's 30 seconds of button pushing after powerup to change, so not a big deal,Can you explain point 2 again in a simple way for thicko? I can't make any sense from it.
