Watching videos of bikes using throttles going uphill with crank drive, why am I hearing multiple clunks and clicks, whereas a the hub bike on the same hill is pretty smooth and quiet.
Listen at about three quarters into this short video.
Whats the ebike solution?i have a dongle but not much use when going up steep hills like that tbh.
Yes, not so much faster but say getting up a hill like your video on throttle alone?what do you mean going up hills faster?
Yes, externally those bafang cd's whether 250w or 750w look same sizemore power you can get 7kw hub motors but when you add a massive batt to them it will weigh a ton and be a handful going back down.
id go with a bafang mid drive 750-1000w should do it
Andy, the throttle is only available on Chinese CD kits like the Bafang BBS01 or BBS02 and Woosh CD bikes.Yes, not so much faster but say getting up a hill like your video on throttle alone?
Right, yes a huge hub bike out of the question for me, when I get back to the uk I'll probably buy two bikes, you can get a data cable for them so you can set ur own settings for the motors if you want.
just watch some of this guys vids
my bike rrp was £5500 but bought it second hand for £3500
Yep, thanks 4 confirming, I'll probably opt for two bikes 1.CD and 2.HUBAndy, the throttle is only available on Chinese CD kits like the Bafang BBS01 or BBS02 and Woosh CD bikes.
