Hi all, I was cycling today and the pedal fell off!

The thread is completely gone on the crank arm where the pedal screws in, worth noting I have done thousands of miles on the bike and love it so not a complaint about quality.

Can I use any crank arm to replace it or does it need to to have a sloght curve in it to clear the motor?

Thanks!

Post #34 on the above thread for something that works, and earlier for description of the issue.

Is it the left or right crank? If its the left, it should be easy enough to get a replacement crank e.g in your local bicycle shop etc.. Getting a right crank (without chainwheel) is more difficult. It is possible to use a standard alloy or steel crank on right side by grinding off the chainring.

The tsdz uses a std spider bcd so one should be able to find a spider/crank to suit.
