coyotte folder ebike now £499 halfords

was in local Halfords Watford today the coyote 20" folding ebike is now £499 down from £600 not bad as a unpowered folder was £345

I met a couple in the Forest of Dean at the weekend who'd taken advantage of the offer and bought one each. I don't think they have the highest powered battery or greatest range, but the couple loved them, were full of enthusiasm and delighted they had managed to complete the cycle trail they would have never otherwise managed.

I looked at the bikes (Coyote Connect) myself last year but my legs were too long(!).

about 2 years back was thinking of buying the woosh e bike folder with hidden battery, I sat on a couple of folders in Halfords but did not feel comftable with the small wheels, narrow handlebars.
spoke to a couple last summer who purchased the coyotes but they put both bikes in back of suv and ride on the flatter stuff.

I have a 20" wheeled folder. I would have preferred a larger bike when buying it but it has to fit into my tiny campervan so there was no choice but I've had a non-leccy folder previously so was used to it.

As for the leccy folder, I love it. I've zoomed around my home area, back and to across the Severn Bridge, up Yat Rock (+20% gradient!), along canal towpaths, through the Forest of Dean, around the Elan Valley, toured castles on the Welsh borders and am currently planning the Taff Trail. It might not be quite what a folder is designed for but I'm not going to let that stop me!

Not that a folder is something i'd buy, but i just had a look on the Halfords site and its reduced by £50 to £549 not £499.
I assume it must have been an instore deal, possibly ex display ?

It was £499; the price has increased this week.

went back to Halfords today its £499 it is ex display model but not ridden

I went into Halfords this afternoon and there was one marked as sold, priced at £499 and awaiting collection. They were £499 last week so looks like the price increase was probably this week.
