Yeah. The battery fits well using the mounting kit on the frame under the triangle, but the width of the battery fouls the cranks, not the chainrings, sorry.

It shouldn't foul the cranks. I have one with Shimano SLX Hollotech cranks and there's plenty of clearance. A Hailong type battery is 90mm wixe. You can check how much clearance you have. with a ruler.

The problem with inverting a Hailong battery is that the connectors are not properly sealed, so water can get in, and if it gets in, it can't get back out. You'd need to dismantle it and seal it properly with something like butyl self-healing bath sealant. Also, the impact forces will loosen any rivnuts, so you'd need straps around it to take the load off the screws.
